Of course Canadian @Box Factory is going to find a problem with a black man finding a problem with Joe Rogan....a man who allows problematic white supremacists who don’t see the value on black humanity to go in hall he’s with their positions on his show.

Yeah @Box Factory...IM the problem here .

That guy negged me last week for making the thread about Clemens having more votes than Bonds. Okay, some felt it wasn't a big deal but he actually negged me for it so that combined with what I'm learning here in this thread has me questioning this guy :jbhmm:

SAS ain’t the best broadcaster out there and his hot takes are sometimes :snoop: but a lot of y’all are exposing yourselves with the joe Rogan caping in here:sas2::mjpls:
Some of these fools are cacs, and the others are c00ns who would side with the KKK if they hated a black person enough.

SAS clealry not very knowledgeable about MMA but he called it like he saw it in the moment. Cowboy was not some crazy impressive win like the UFC was trying to spin it. He's notoriously a slow starter who's known for choking in the biggest moments, while Conor is a notoriously fast starter who's been fighting the absolute biggest fights imaginable for years now and usually comes out on top.
It was a gimme fight. Joe just upset SAS didn't keep up with the schilling they were doing

All that being said, Joe's been working with UFC for like 25 years, he knows a ton about the sport and was still dumb enough to call Ronda Rousey a once ever athlete and elite striker lmao.

I'll just say this, because MMA and martial arts is my livelihood.

Regardless of what you think about Rogan or SAS, SAS should have used some different language. It's frankly just a terrible take to say that a guy with more performance bonuses than anyone in UFC history and more wins than anyone in the UFC simply gave up and folded. That's just not true. Love or hate Cowboy or Conor...the fact is that Cowboy got fukked up and hurt badly in the first few seconds. He didn't give up and fold.

In our world we just tend to not like when guys and girls talk about fighters in a disrespectful tone unless they've had the guts to go compete and put it on the line in at least some sort of combat sport.

I'm not even speaking for casual fans. I don't know what they think about this. But most of the people I train with found SAS's comments to be a little disrespectful to Cowboy.

But at the same time saying controversial shyt to get people worked up is sort of SAS's business model.

:manny:

man shut the fukk up, this is how media pundits talk about athletes

Skip Bayless called Chris Bosh, Bosh Spice

Brian Kenny said all types of disrespectful shyt about Floyd Mayweather when all he did was win

Max Kellerman straight up disrespected Tim Bradley in a recent analysis of Wilder vs Fury fight, and this after Terrance Crawford checked his ass on site, that goes beyond boxing performance in a ring

all Stephen A Smith did was shyt on Cowboy for a shytty performance, that his jobs, this fighters ain't no different than football players when they have bad performance they get clowned and roasted on

Manny Pacqauio damn near died against Marquez, they literally had to bring him back to life in the ring, Roach thought he was dead, and people make memes about him, Stephen A was clowing him talking about "Manny are you OK"

This comes with being mainstream, if they are so butt hurt about it, go back to the fringe of sports where nobody cares

Rogan is mad because Stephen A a black man is the top dog in sports broadcasting, that is it, ESPN runs the show with the UFC now, and his little boys club is in danger, so he feeling some type of way

this is what this is about period

MMA guys get so uptight when other ppl analyze or talk about the UFC,you dont need 20 years experience watching that bullshyt to analyze it or criticize it...

Cats like Rogan like you to think its more technical and complicated than it is.So when a new person comes in and doesnt refer to it in there terms with there vernacular they got upset...

Everytime someone shyts on it Rogans go to response is "you dont understand it"

the way luke thomas went after SAS like a clout demon made me look at him differently :mjpls:

he did secure a rogan podcast appearance from it so maybe it worked out.

So after all that, Stephen A was right :mjlol:
Alot of mma fans and media have their heads up their asses and are snobby for no good reason

Yeah they are snobby af...

They think they know any and everything about fighting in general like boxing hasn’t been around for hundreds of years as a real recognized sport.

And boxers usually be humble and quiet af... usually too respectful compared to MMA fans/fighters who think they can walk in a boxing ring and go 12 rounds with the best boxers with ease.

Then they always turn directly to violence whenever someone does or says something they don’t like.

Steven A is a clown to me but he did what he would’ve done if it was a boxing match or any match and thats be himself and speak his mind. Rogan just mad that a black, non-MMA fan said it and tries to bully dude by threatening to put hands on him

He’ll criticize boxers too but none of them threaten to do shyt to the dude
