You're literally parroting something from a vox article. Did you bother to read the study they were reporting on?

Do peer reviews or studies in pre print mean anything to you?

This was the first line in the pre-print study

This article is a preprint and has not been peer-reviewed [what does this mean?]. It reports new medical research that has yet to be evaluated and so should not be used to guide clinical practice.

For the record about 35% of preprints don't get published

I didn’t read Vox. I read many sources, but I first saw it on MSNBC. This is how it started in Germany.
First it was 2 wks, then it was dnt wear mask (they don’t work), then it was wear mask, then it was 6ft apart, then Vax, Now Vax passports proposed(which means constant vaccinations), Now boosters are being spoken on, to get ppl use to the idea of ongoing vaxcinations.

Public health is an extremely complicated problem especially when you are dealing with a respiratory virus, and as far as I know I'm not sure whether or not we've ever achieved sterilizing immunity against a them (I could be wrong on that)

Despite these current vaccines providing functional immunity with an incredibly high immune response it's pretty much inevitable that we'll need boosters due to the fact that highly unvaccinated countries are producing variants that are making Thier way over here. It would be great if we could vaccinate poorer countries with a snap of a finger but that's a whole 'nother issue entirely.

This is a big fukking lie. If y'all dudes were soooooo concerned about "fukk getting a preventable disease" y'all would be going hard on a lot more things that are a problem for black people that are "preventable" like high blood pressure, diabetes, etc. I don't see the same energy on them things so it seems like y'all been programmed by whats popular to say right now.
I ain’t heard of anyone getting diabetes because they were around someone with diabetes:unimpressed:

No, it isn't. Since Black people are more likely to have the pre-existing conditions you listed, that makes us more vulnerable to COVID complications/hospitalization/death.

Urging Black people to get vaccinated makes sense and shows we give a damn while staying vulnerable to a preventable disease shows you lack common sense and believe utter nonsense created by "White" people.

So after leaving blacks with less education and less access to healthcare (since it’s not like we’re anymore prone to illness, but lifestyle and diet are worse than others), now they want to give us access 1st? Doesn’t compute given the pattern, but ay.

Immaterial. The vaccines work at preventing a disease and cost NOTHING. Staying unvaccinated just makes you even more vulnerable to being mistreated by the same institutions you're complaining about.

The F.D.A. is aiming to give full approval to Pfizer’s Covid vaccine on Monday.

The F.D.A. is aiming to give full approval to Pfizer’s Covid vaccine on Monday.
Aug. 20, 2021Updated 7:40 p.m. ET
The Food and Drug Administration is pushing to approve Pfizer-BioNTech’s two-dose Covid-19 vaccine on Monday, further expediting an earlier timeline for licensing the shot, according to people familiar with the agency’s planning.

Regulators were working to finish the process by Friday but were still working through a substantial amount of paperwork and negotiation with the company. The people familiar with the planning, who were not authorized to speak publicly about it, cautioned that the approval might slide beyond Monday if some components of the review need more time.

An F.D.A. spokeswoman declined to comment.

The agency had recently set an unofficial deadline for approval of around Labor Day.

The approval is expected to pave the way for a series of vaccination requirements by public and private organizations who were awaiting final regulatory action before implementing mandates. Federal and state health officials are also hoping that an approved vaccine will draw interest from some Americans who have been hesitant to take one that was only authorized for emergency use, a phenomenon suggested by recent polling.

Some universities and hospitals are expected to mandate inoculation once a vaccine is fully approved. The Pentagon earlier this month said it plans to make Covid vaccinations mandatory for the country’s 1.3 million active-duty troops “no later” than the middle of next month, or sooner if the F.D.A. acts earlier.

Once it obtains the approval, Pfizer-BioNTech is planning to quickly ask the F.D.A. to approve a third dose as a booster shot. The Biden administration on Wednesday announced that fully vaccinated adults should prepare to get booster shots eight months after they received their second doses, beginning Sept. 20. Pfizer is expected to finish submitting data that it says shows a third shot is safe and effective next week.

The F.D.A. last week updated its authorizations of Pfizer-BioNTech’s and Moderna’s vaccine to allow third doses for some immunocompromised people, a decision backed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Regulators are still reviewing Moderna’s application for full approval for its coronavirus vaccine, and a decision could come at least several weeks after the one for Pfizer-BioNTech. Moderna is planning to submit its data in support of a booster shot in September.
