Yeah no. I get the idea of humanizing violence but there is something grossly unique about the levels of disregard for human life Europeans had that historically led to them constantly abusing other cultures. There were once 100 million Native Americans prior to contact with Europeans. Now there’s only 3 million. I won’t even get into past and current European actions towards blks b/c African diasporic populations are STILL impacted by their violence and sickness. Psychologically speaking, European culture alone shields itself from its atrocities while committing more. It’s a collective psychosis.

All of it was done for the purposes of merchantile capitalism. To justify this mass orgy of violence they created 'racism'. Viewing other races as inferior and morally decrepit was the only way they could reconcile with the wicked acts they were commiting. But it was really all a projection.
