Also the thing that is kind of terrifying about the homeless situation and also just America in general is how a lot of people think homeless people are just vessels to take out their rage.

There are all sorts of horrific stories of random people killing homeless people, setting them on fire, making them drink chemicals, and all sorts of vile stuff.

It kind of is a very telling thing that many people view homeless people as less than human and deserving of violence.
Because America is a morally bankrupt nation in a superhero costume. This is a nation that treats selfishness as virtue, sprinkled with a culture of “fukk you, I got mine” and a whitewashed history.

It should be the aim of a society to elevate others, not tear them down.

No.
Homeless ppl aren't committing most crimes

He didn't say homeless people are committing crimes. Not coming at your neck, but the whole context of his point is the irony that it's a crime to move a homeless person's property in public spaces, but with the way crime is treated in LA Rogan feels he could probably get away with shooting one of them. Obviously he's joking, but he has a valid point in that crime in LA doesn't appear to be taken seriously. Going back to what I said earlier, pay attention to this because Rogan is influential and what he said is part of the larger backlash building on the percepion or reality that these cities are soft on crime.

Only a matter of when, not if, for this country

Breh...what I been through is a eye opener to the point where fukkheads like Joe Rogan can eat a sack of wombat sacks. Technically I am homeless but there is layers to the shyt. Folks think that homeless=bum on the street down on their luck, but there's layers to the shyt. I seen families hurting out here and relying on a failed system to help them through the process. Folks that are hardworking individuals falling on hard times getting treated like dog shyt, while the laziest fukking drug addicted hobo gets red carpet treatment. I seen the shyt for myself because I was in the shelter for a spell and it blew my mind.

Seeing how the people you look at as your own fail you, the city treating the facility like a "here nikka damn" to the homeless, and the constant reminders of what will never change and that is capitalism, selfishness, and godlessness. There was a old lady that my wife, son and I connected with while we were in the shelter that made our time feel special. She passed away on the damn toilet because of some mega dike arguing with her in the dorm they were in. What the shelter do? they clean the dorm up, tell us it was all going to be okay, and the next day back to kicking folks out, slavery duties, and long winded times of dinner and breakfast (soup kitchen open for lunch btw). My son and I had to sit on the fukking deck eating cold lunch like we were legit bums.

Yes, there are some bums that are problematic but the overshadow of the problem is haunting to the soul, because it brings judgment on those facing hardtimes, rather than the fukk humans doing these petty crimes.

So all and all Joe Rogan and all the folks that support what he says can eat a bag of wombat dikks and hopefully choke on the hairy one.

Not a JR fan by any stretch of the imagination, but he's clearly being facetious here.

"we can't remove homeless ppls properties, but we can shoot them, hurr hurr"

He's not actually suggesting to shoot homeless ppl.

Yeah anybody can fall on hard times. All it takes is a serious illness, job loss etc.. Most homeless ppl are mentally ill.

Says the one who made a thread about him :what:

What kind of a backward ass logic is this.
Well genius assuming you don't have that Chris Rock shyt and can read the room you can see this is a post CRITICIZING Joe Rogan's comments and NOT endorsing him or his message. WE ARE CRITICIZING his message. But again, I don't know your ability to read the room so I'll give you a pass.

Let me guess your next move, from the Coli playbook, skip right over the TMZ post and pretend I follow him.

I don't watch Rogan, not a fan, but reading all of that in context I see the point he's making. LA seems to be a bit wild right now. Beyond being mad at what Rogan said, people need to pay attention to the backlash developing on crime which is what his "joke" is part of. There's a thread right now on the subject.

Hate Joe Rogan, but I understood what he meant. Like here in NYC, you get locked up for defending yourself. I remember over a year ago, a rapist tried to rape a woman in her hallway and I believe her husband killed the dude. Husband got locked up.

Granted they dropped the charges, but still. Crazy how you can't carry in NYC but it's also standard operating procedure to get arrested if you kill someone while defending yourself.

Meanwhile, I have a cousin that's been let out on gun possession earlier this year, while fighting an assault case.

I had to rep cause I was homeless too living in NYC in 2015 where I was homeless for 8 months and sleeping in my car. It was an eye opening experience...forced me to get back on my Ps and Qs to make sure it never happened again.

And you're right a lot of homeless people are just caught up in bad situations couldn't it make ends meet so they're out on the street the rent didn't got paid so now they're out they're out in shade...lost jobs, broken families, a lack of opportunity...inability to afford affordable housing...its not as simple as people to think...especially how most see the homeless as either mentally ill or addicted to drugs (which is a cop out....people don't want to scratch beneath the surface for real answers).
