Thanks for providing proof. Gotta say I disagree with the sentiment of that video. JB Smoove does a lot of physical comedy in his stand up and I think he is very funny.
I was trying to say that he's not a funny standup with that video. While he started as a standup and wants to be known as one, majority of people know him as a podcaster first, Fear Factor host second and then probably as a standup comic or actor last :manny:

Rogan has never been funny as a stand up comedian, like he seriously sucks. He has fans from the UFC and his podcast, fear factor etc.

As far as the podcast moving to spotify, enh. That's a strong move for Spotify maybe but not for Rogan. I don't know why anyone would allow their content to be put behind a paywall like that unless they were getting an insane bag. His popularity came from being available on all platforms, I only ever watched his vids on YouTube. Once that stops I definitely won't be listening on Spotify :yeshrug:

I understand a lot of people are like this, but Rogan is someone who doesn't even know what a US Attorney is, or what the Justice Department does, but is all of the sudden in the weeds with "unmasking", "Attorney general", "special counsel" "jed jensen" I bet he doesn't even know the difference between state and federal prosecutors, or how indictments or grand juries work. It's just exasperating, the level of ignorance in these beloved icons.

I won't grand stand like following the last 4 hasn't intensely furthered my understanding of government, esp. pertaining to the inner working of the Justice Department, but I knew A LOT going into this.

He's worse. Cuz he pretends that he's something he's not. Oh, Im impartial but this obamagate stuff is scary. Stern was always more comedian than political commentator. And that both sides are the same shyt is what is making republicans stronger. Cuz it divides the left more than the right.

This is a reason I always hated Jon Stewart. He ushered a lot of this bs in.

:dwillhuh:

I wonder how much they paid him?

Stewart stayed trying to be down the middle. The reasonable voice. False equivalencies. I didn't like that dude.

:dahell: That wasn’t Jon Stewart at all.

Jon used to call the media and politicians on their hypocrisy and stupidity, but it was conservatives who got most of the heat.

You are bugging right now. Jon’s main targets were the right wing media and right wing politicians. Colbert Show was a parody of right wing punditry. He effectively put an end to Tucker Carlson’s career for 10 years when he went on crossfire.

He was one of the lone voices going at the Bush administration and criticizing the Iraq War and the “war on terror” when the entire mainstream media was giving the Bush Administration tacit approval out of fear of being called unpatriotic.

Your take on Jon Stewart literally could not be any further from the truth.
