I'm trying to ignore what everyone is saying and not let it affect me. But anyone in here interested in having a round table where we go track by track and break down how we feel about the album...I would then post it up on the front page like an album review.

Though, I don't know when this is officially supposed to drop so I'm not going to post up a review of a leak until it officially comes out.

Aight that's it i gotta say it......off this thread i've discovered that a lot of you n!ggas is fukkin weirdo's when it comes to budden's music. The fukk y'all expect??!?.....y'all actually want joey to stay down and out and make introspective, emo music his entire career?? gtfoh


Calling yourselves joe budden stans but don't even realize 98% of his music has always been introspective, somber, and full of pain but still dope nonetheless smh (outside of touch and go, and the future w/game and a few leaked joints just before mm3)

Go outside for once, and spin this with some good speakers that beat.....AND the mixing and mastering is the best of his projects since his debut on def jam 10 yrs ago lol!!!. The n!gga's happy and FOR ONCE is making music you can actually play in the whip and ride out too (bangers) ....stop the hate.

i thought i wasn't gonna like this album after he said his "hardcore" and "day 1" fans would probably not like the direction he went. man this shyt on point and it's a solid album

edit: at the end of the day how could you not respect this mans grind since his first album til now.

Not to mention the entire middle of the album is filled with classic Joe.

that's the thing, I actually think Budden did a GREAT job of making a modern, mainstream hip hop album while also staying true to his core fanbase... I enjoy Budden's music, but I also enjoy being out and partying and shyt, so shyt like Top Of The Word, She Don't Put It Down, NBA, and Last Day are welcomed. ESPECIALLY because in the past, every time Joe has made a crossover single, it's been wack as fukk (remember Touch n Go?)


But at the same time, he has shyt like You and I, Castles, All In My Head, Skeletons, etc. that as someone who's been a fan of dude since his debut, is exactly what I expect of him. That mood muzik shyt.

I'm a self-admitted stan, I think he's an incredible artist. But I've also been critical as fukk of him because I know the kind of music that he's capable of making and he's put out some subpar shyt at times. Overall, I felt like this was a very successful attempt at making his music accessible while also giving you that shyt he's known for with the introspective bars.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't happy as fukk that dude finally made some music I can play on the way to the club with hoes in the whip

This is the album I wanted from joey. Padded room was too much into the dark side. This is artist joey should be. He does the mood muzik series for a reason. He has to balance out his career. PAC made commercial music so did Eminem. Album is dope if you are not expecting mood muzik joe budden.
