I FINALLY just listened to this shyt and its not bad at all. If you were a super hardcore fan of Budden's darker stuff, its obvious you wouldnt fukk with it, but I dont mind Budden with this new sound. I fukks with the R&B/romance influences in this album 
I'd give this album a 7.5/8 out of 10. The production is clean as fukk and Joey is always consistent with the pen.

Word up i was expectin somethin along the lines of their SH ep they dropped. Right now we dont have die hard fans anymore everybody just followin wats buzzin for now. Y not cater to the audience that rode with u from the jump. Instead he/they choose to cater to a audience who barley knows them. They should take the tech 9 route. Drop indie shyt and stay there. U cant reach out to a audience that didnt invite u.

only two faults to me are the hook on Ghetto Burbs and the wack interlude. I fukk with all the commercial "single" type tracks, he gave us plenty of Mood Muzik shyt, and there's a few smooth girl type songs. I'm not really understanding the hate. It's whatever though, everyone's entitled to their own opinion. Not gonna make me like it any more or less.

After all the piff he's put out over the years I really can't blame dude for going commercial and wanting them hits. He seems to be happy, so he ain't gonna make Mood Muzik 2-esque albums full of emo shyt anymore.

As a Joe Budden fan, this album sounds weird. It's good.....I am enjoying it so far.... it's just, different. Not his usual..... nothing wrong with that though, people grow daily.
All of the songs seem to have their own ambience...like a spectrum of different colours.
It seems more of a mish-mash of songs.. where as his albums before (and mixtapes).. would flow into each other. He holds his own on the mainstream type of cuts, not sounding out of place at all, Joe always has had, and always will have star quality.
This album is what it is.

I'm that super hardcore fan, and I'm not Mad. He has to have some ballence of commercial appeal. i mean it is an album for sale. the nikka spend the last 7 years feeding the fan base he gotta get on the radio too

his worst project since MM1. a loose quarter is much better. halfway house, mm4, padded room, whatever...all upgraded material. i feel like he went for formula and way too much typical rapper misogyny yet brown nosing on this joint. and a lotta rappers do that better than him.
i get you want a project to be cohesive, but alot of these songs just run together and in the end sound uninspired. gonna give it one more solid run before i throw it in the bushes. too much good music out here. hell, i still bump a loose quarter. cant give me that, then this---and in the end, for what? this isnt going to move big units. he coulda thrown that wayne/tank joint on any of his projects. he'll prolly do right around his regular numbers
