Nah, they aren't that far off from competing right now, they have the 11th best defense in the league (Worst offense in the league though), young squads usually suck ass on defense but this one just needs a little more offense to be competitive. Assuming Embiid stays healthy the whole year and they draft Mudiay or Russell, they will be getting more defense from Embiid in addition to offense and an offensive punch on the wing that they didn't have before. They could have a Milwaukee Bucks like jump next year, but they are definitely going to turn the corner in the next 2-3 years and show some major growth (if healthy).
also a improved Noel...his ceiling is looking a little higher then i originally thought

a better ben wallace? :ohhh:

Philly (BYRD GANG)
clearly the better playmaker but i havent seen enuff of mudiay tbh...

but if Hinkie values athleticism then mudiay by far would be the pick...

safe pick is russel but mudiay maybe the superstar a la westbrook

Mudiay can't shoot though and I don't know if Hinkie would draft him knowing this. Larry Brown did mention the 76ers staff loved him however.

all things being equal im inclined to think Hinkie goes with the better athlete and defender....alot of people have dropped russells name....ploy maybe:patrice:

mudiay isnt MCW bad of a jump shooter....he isnt top tier but he should be able to come in and hit in the 30's

Can't believe the Sixers could possibly 2 picks in the top 6 in a year like this.

Let's say they get #3 or 4 in the lottery, and select either Russell or Mudiay. Then, the Lakers fall out of the top 5, and the Sixers end up getting their pick at #6. Do they take one of the SFs available (Johnson, guy from Spain)? Do they trade the pick??

Magic got Victor,Elf,Vucci,Tobias that's a good young squad. Not to mention Gordon who sucks but could eventually become a decent defender.
Magic actually do have a nice core but Tobias:patrice:he is probally out of there anyway

Peyton,Oladipo and vucci man nice core

That's Curtis Sumpter working out with Embiid:ooh:

Look like he can play some minutes for Philly right now lol. The undersized big on those mid 2000s Nova teams

They'd take Hezonja or Winslow with the 6th pick.

And in that scenario they'd take Mudiay, the shooting of Hezonja would cover for him.
