Playing with African national teams always comes with its share of headaches. It's not so simple as just showing up and playing. I don't blame anyone who chooses not to deal with that.
Yeah these dudes clearly don’t get it

African FA’s and Basketball federations be corrupt as shyt, no use in putting yourself thru that in the name of nationalism

I don't care one way or the other (cuz fukk the 6ers, my Knickas :mjlit: ), but seeing black people talk about "can't even speak English" irks the fukk out of me. Leave that ignorant, xenophobic bullshyt to the cac Trump supporters. We should be far too knowledgeable about the diaspora to spout that silliness.

Paul Biya, Cameroonian President, is probably the reason guys like Embid and others immigrate to live and work in other countries. The guy has been in power as President for 40+ YEARS since 1982 and he is 91 years old. He has looted BILLIONS from that country/been a French puppet and prevented it from fully developing making it one of the poorest in the world. So this guy should be quiet. He needs to focus on giving up power first instead of commenting on Embid if indeed he did comment on the situation.

fam, you are responding to people who aren't aware of whats going on in their own city :dead:

It’s team US or nothing though since Cameroon doesn’t have a real Olympic level team. Dude started playing basketball at 15 and moved to the US at 16, so basically his whole basketball life is in the US.

If he and Siakam joined forces it might’ve been something though.

But with that said, it does feel weird to not call him a “rest of the world” player
