Rumors circulated over the weekend that Joel Osteen, senior pastor of Houston's Lakewood Church, endorsed Donald Trump for president, calling him "a good man." Part of that is true.
While Osteen did speak favorably about Trump in the Fox News Radio interview referenced in the rumors, the interview occurred in October and Osteen never officially endorsed him. Even if he wanted to, legally, he couldn't.
"I'm not really up to speed on all the politics," Osteen said during the interview, "but (Trump)'s been a friend to our ministry."
Osteen did say that Trump was an " incredible communicator" which is like saying "she types fast" when someone calls you for a job applicant reference.
Trump and Osteen have flaunted their bromance in public, like when Osteen said "you can't find a more gracious giving person than Mr. Trump," in a conversation between the two men during Osteen's SiriusXM channel launch. And Trump, who tweets out various Osteen quotes, has said, "Being associated with Joel is my great honor -- he is a fantastic man!"

Joel Osteen's congregation/followers is probably 75% southern white..... so with that being said.. no doubt he's gonna support Trump because its profitable

I very picky about spiritual readings I study, and certainly not into politics, but come on, it's obvious half these people don't care. Hilary is what's best for us! How I feel about Trump, Creflo Dollar, Bernie Sanders, Joel Osteen, and all these rich as folk selling bullshyt to us:

I see his shyt up and down my timeline. Let the local black pastor ask for something though. Osteen and his ilk are poverty pimps to the fullest. Seriously fukk doing it from a political standpoint. Get into pastoring and poverty pimp. Nobody even looks at them as thieves even if they rob folks right in their face. It isn't all pastors I know this but these big tymer preachers get it in.
