Project is dope, sone songs I'm liking more than others but it's a solid effort. Also The message on the majority of the tracks are also dope. it's a breath of fresh air from the stuff we been hearing as of lately.
The thing that I like is that he's carved out his own identity and isn't trying to be the "real hip-hop" guy anymore. The music's still distinctly boom bap and New York but it feels like his own stuff, rather than a naval-gazing retread of 90s songs. I enjoyed B4.da.$$ but even the best songs had the "I've heard this before" feel. That's not here on this album.

There's still some of that 90's flavor sprinkled on this album but yea, he has his own distinct style.

That makes

Alright...got mixed feelings about this one. One thing I can appreciate is Joey definitely stepping his writing up from the first album 10 fold, but with that said, breh honestly made the same song for half the album. Surface scratching political-social commentary over easy listening instrumentals. 2nd half had better songs starting with Rockabye Baby but went right back into it with the final track Amerikkkan Idol. I can't slander the boy too much because what he's saying is relevant, it's just a little too on the nose but I think he'll get better at it with time. It's better than the first album though, without a doubt.
