I feel that song is a little bit about white validation so It kinda made me cringe a little. I don't care that they don't love me. I don't look for love/validation from my oppressor. That is slave mentality. That is the issue I have with that song. I think I need to listen to it again. I might have it all wrong.

this is a good album. i hate to hear it didnt perform. i really, really like the production here. ive heard breh before but this is my first time listening to him. he reminds me a bit of kendrick. does he get alot of kendrick comparisons?

This album is fukking amazing. You can really hear Joey's growth here. He was always an amazing raw spitter, but he's a complete emcee and artist for the first time on this one. The album gets progressively better from start to finish too.

Masterpiece. Probably the best hip hop album I've heard since Tetsuo & Youth. I couldn't be more proud of this nikka. Easy call to give him my money.

Shame it's not selling more, but that ain't got shyt to do with the quality of the music. I personally enjoyed this more than DAMN.

I'm a Joey fan but this one didn't work for me.
Got some dope songs ( For My People, Temptation, Rockabye) and some wack shyt (Devastated, Y U).
Too bad it didnt sell more, Joey's a great rapper.
