This is the type of album that would have been thought of as a 4 mic album in 1995, then hailed as a classic today

Thats not really a criticism or a praise. It just is what it is.

Production is just flames, the raps are good, its nostalgic.......but probably too nostalgic and too many tracks. Trim it and focus more on crafting standout songs and it had potential to be much better.

I would call it a solid album, 3.5 mics. Will likely be one of the best Hip Hop albums released this year. In the right mood I'd give it a 4.

I tried giving this the benefit of the doubt due to the hype surrounding it but I'm not feeling this album too much. but I've never been big on Joey so maybe that's why?

was anticipating this then Lupe dropped the next day and I cant get into this anymore. Joeys voice starting to annoy me like when he first came out.
