Attacking multiple artist is allowing him to spread out his material. This allows for more disses and longer songs, while each individual artist he's dissing is only focusing on him. Less content means shorter songs and lower quality. This works for Joey because he's going against artist who most people would consider lesser artist. This is how where a 20 v 1 narrative works perfectly.
