It's a dope cover :yeshrug:.....and I like smoke dza. But he's not a great lyricist either. Just like joey. They're all B-C level to me. New York really has nobody I would call elite at this point. It's just a fact.

At the same time I don't consider anybody on the west elite except for Kendrick either. But I can be honest about that. Y'all really hyping up these joey tracks like they're profound but refuse to drop any crazy bars. Kendrick is in a league of his own. And nothing joey has dropped in this battle has been enough to get Kendrick in the ring. Joey is a good rapper and nothing more.
I'd say Conway, but yeah. I agree with the rest of this.

Yes and yall made excuses for Kendrick and called every rapper who responded corny. Keep that energy yall was letting Kendrick slide with. Wanna know what the big difference is tho? Joey engaged in it and even WELCOMED it.
:mjlol:

Joey had everything to gain battling lower tiered TDE artists and running off of NY nostalgia and bringing the eastcoast together. Who was thinking about him before this?

:jbhmm:

The real big difference is that kendrick in his prime, name dropped similar tiered artists in their prime. Sure Joey “welcomed the smoke” like he got anything else going on. He’s coasting off of providing an opponent to the “Westcoast dikk licking” when not much was expected of him music wise. This the oldest easiest NY trick in the book and he’s playing it well. Props to Joey for dropping Heat with this one and accepting the 20v1, but now y’all are gassing. :mjlol:

The ironic part is that it was NYC rappers themselves who invented that “he’s too lower tiered for me to respond” rulebook. Now y’all wanna act oblivious as to its existence. :mjlol:

My thing is this is Kendrick if he goes at Joey is going to make that shyt a bop. Joey he is nice with the bars but it’s going to take a lot more to go at the king. These dated beats he’s on ain’t going to work against dot.

Salute to Joey though. To me it’s sad to see that he’s the only one outchea like this and the East ain’t got it like how they use to.

Some of these NY nikkas just jealous and hating because they not running Hip Hop anymore. Most of the relevant modern rappers are from Cali now. Joey making NY semi relevant again.

These joey songs will be forgotten about in a week :mjlol: .....and his next album will still go aluminum. These NY rap fans are full of shyt. They shoulda rallied behind joey like the west rallied behind Kendrick. But instead they rallied behind tekashi and let joey flop with every album. Despicable:scust:
