That dude sounds like an internet warrior. He’s made his identity dikkeating the west coast and lives through random rap interviews he watched. The East Coast literally embraced Luda, TI, Jeezy, Weezy, Ross, No Limit, Cash Money, OutKast despite early skepticism. They sold out over here forever, what the fukk is dude yapping about? The east damn near claims J. Cole. Kendrick just dropped an album saying only Nas congratulated him on the SB, which he was awarded by an NY dude.
These guys have ruined this board.
You named a bunch of nikkas who got a cosign from a New York rapper early on though

Carpet baggers

? We dont really need to re-litigate this do we? The rappers and the radio host were flagrant with the hate. Doubt they would do that if that wasnt the vibes overall. Its fine,we know it stings to have something you created taken away. lets just not rewrite history though.
Am i the only one dissapointed the south and maybe the midwest didnt get involved in this? But especially the south. Letting the east coast and west argue about who run shyt

?
And lowkey i think Detroit is actually running shyt. From that style Kendrick using basically being watered down Sada Baby, Plus Im hearing alot of Detroit sounding beats get used by Southern and West Coast artist. West Coast and Detroit always been linked up,especially the Bay. But its obvious that sound and Detroit flow(not Sadas) has gotten popular. You probably wouldnt notice if you dont listen to Detroit hiphop. But if you know you know.
Detroit need to start popping they shyt a little more. Otherwise other people just going to bite and steal. Next thing you know they getting credit for inventing what youve been doing/saying. Detroit been killing, but you still dont have a single Detroit rapper towards the top of the food chain. Sadly i think they might end up like the Bay Area. Just a hot bed of inspiration that people feed off,but never gets properly credited
