X-Clan toured with MC Hammer, Joey should be able to tour with Makonnen. Because it's ALL HIP HOP... This nikka is unoriginal and he raps in circles and says nothing. THATS MY PROBLEM. It seems contrived. Its like he KNEW if he rapped on Old School beats, and did Old School videos, Old School heads would cosign him. That's lame... First rule of Hip Hop is be original... You're goin in but why is this any different from Troy Ave's marketing plan of bringing back the "classic feel", biting 50 cent, counting money during freestyles like Cam etc. Action Bronson sounds exactly like Ghostface. Nothing is new under the sun and unfortunately innovation is rare in hiphop today(aside from ATL rap scene).
He does it pretty well. It takes me back to when I was a youngin growing up in Baltimore. I simply appreciate that.
