Nice rapper.

But he is not what NY needs right now. Homie is destined to do Big Krit numbers

who cares about numbers? this is why rap is wack now.

and it always humored me how new york rappers have been catering to the south for the past decade. south niccas are mostly all about south music with the exception of a few artists here n there. thats why philly is ahead of new york.

I'm feeling the youngin. Really the only thing I didn't like was the childish "fukk the police" speech on Survival Tactics; that shyt sounded so fake. But I'll give him a pass since he's what, 17?

He can rap, is surrounded by some grimey new producers, and looks like he could be Pete Rock's son. I can dig it

Shows you how ass backwards the game is. ASAP Rocky & Drake sounding like Texas boys and nikkas start :dj2:

An NY nikka sounding like Nas lil brother comes out and people get confused.

His career is doomed cause this style wont get played on radio or clubs. He's destined to become the next Saigon. "Real hip hop nerds" aka Rosenberg types, will sing his praises then when soundscan numbers get released shyt gets quiet.

no its not honestly if he builds a core fan base he good like big krit

Something about a kid who was born in the 90's making "90's" style music kinda seems funny to me. Not saying he couldn't have been raised on it or w/e but his whole stee seems forced. His music is kinda cool tho.

I can see how he could be seen as a gimmick. It's hard as hell to break through making mainstream hip hop. But you're guaranteed to appeal to internet heads and hypebeasts making "real hip hop" so I could see cats going that route knowing they could secure internet celebrity. Look at Lupe. Cat were calling him a gimmick back in the day.
