Album is dope
Only weak song is Supaflee. The Rulers Back would have been a way better 3rd track and would have heightened the albums first half.

Ready To Love sounds like something that would get heavy rotation on Hot 97 /Power 105
This feels like a fairly standard Joey album off the first listen. "Still On That" and "Lonely At The Top" were a strong way to finish.
There’s nothing overly bad but I feel like I've heard most of these songs before. The Ty$ joint is generic as hell too. He talked all that shyt to basically drop a continuation of his last album and do nothing new.
Some of his early singles like "The Rulers Back" would have elevated this album and brought the energy up.
Will sit with it a while longer and see if it grows on me.

It’s cool but it’s a whole different vibe to how he started the year with - was expecting for him to come out and start talking his shyt, not necessarily on a beef tip but more on a competitive ‘you can’t fukk with me’ type of vibe.
Seems like another missed opportunity for him tbh - the energy that he started the year with ‘The Rulers Back’ then going into the RB cypher, following up with the West Coast back and forth needed to continue with this album. If you’re going to come out talking about you’re the best in the game then your album needs to reflect that - album is called ‘Lonely At The Top’ ffs lol.
As much as I’m not a fan of GNX, Kendrick knew what he had to deliver in order for him to get to the next level which I guess will always be the difference between himself and an artist like Joey. Along with with his elite lyrical ability, Kendrick seems to always make the right plays when the opportunities present themselves. Charlemagne said on Joey’s Breakfast Club interview that he’s one song away but I don’t think it’s that - he seems to not be making the right choices when the iron’s hot. Between his output this year and his popularity from Power he could’ve really made a statement with this project. I think it’s cool but it’s probably not gonna take him where he thinks if he wants to be considered for top tier rapper conversations.

I'm depressed at how mid this project was. The first 5 tracks are trash.
BK's finest, Underwater are dope so far.
I dunno how Ty $ign still has a job in music. He's so ass. If the album would've started off with BKs finest or Underwater energy it would've been

Not the worse of the summer nor close but could've been better.
3 more tracks fitting the vibe of the last 6 tracks added and this would've easily been an 8/10.
