You just said the album was trash, they don't need to blackball him. The labels aren't I tested in doing all that rollout artistic direction shut for rappers anymore. Pharrell is from when that shyt was happening and the Clipse have a clear vision for what they're doing.

To me, joeys shyt is still "hey, I listened to a lot of 90's NYC rap," that not an artistic direction as much as it's cosplay. But while I did think he won battle against all the west coast bums I thought Exquire shyt against him was nicer. I've always been a joey skeptic.

Album is one of the most disappointing rap albums I’ve ever heard, only played it once. He has a great discography, and I think B4 Da A$$ is a classic, but after all the West Coast disses I was expecting more hunger, it was just generic ‘I’m back’ rap with mediocre production
