TL:DR. Joey Buttafuoco was grown 30 something year old man dealing with a 17 year old Amy Fisher in the early 90s.
His wife found out and told him to stop dealing with Fisher. He told Fisher that his wife found out and they couldn't be together. Fisher thought that if the wife was out of the way, she and Joey could be together. So she shot his wife.
