With the age/wear and tear of the NJPW main event scene, they need more wrestlers to think like this. :lupe:

IMO Big E needs to get his ass over there ASAP ... the whole "Gaijin Monster" thing is huge over there, he'd be better off than he is shuckin and jivin thru several shows a week working for WWE

The majority of that 500k wasn't even from the independent scene. It was from Japan.
AJ was getting $700 a show on indy's during TNA's first year plus travel. Most WWE midcarders have to pay their own travel. Even if they get $700 a show, which is doubtful, at 300 shows a year, thats still only $210,000 before airfare and hotel. But hey at least they get a shot at grabbing the brass ring :yeshrug:

First of all, duck tales. I get $9 an album on Koch

Second, AJ Styles is not the norm for indie guys. He was on TV for years right? One example for a headline guy doesn't mean there all getting 100k+ a year. I've recognized dudes that are big on the internet working "regular" jobs, seent it with my own two eyes

Third, how many of his Indy bookings where he breaks some other midgets neck, are gonna pay royalties?
