Normally, based on the history of these things, I'd say there's a sex scandal brewing. But Boehner doesn't seem like the type that could keep it up after drinking 6 bottles of $10,000 Mad Dog a day for the past 20 years, so I'm going to say he was forced out in favor of someone crazier.

If there's a scandal involving a coup to take him down, it would be a black eye on the party and any negative effects as a result of the shutdown would be attributed not only to him but the GOP.
