Breh, as a Nigerian, I can't stand those Christian nigerian oyinbo chasers either.
Then again I was born in America. I'm like cool with christian nigerians and muslims.
But damn, they can be annoying.
It's like they don't get how American racism is. I feel this is some Nigerians in the UK too, but they have their own racism to deal with over there.
They wanna make friends with white folk cause maybe they lived there in Nigeria primarily and America is new and interesting.
They don't take advice from African Americans (especially) that the reason they don't get along (with white Americans historically) is cause of racism, slavery, colonization, discrimination, and a system of oppression that never went away.
They never had older AA black folk tell them stories about how they went to a sundown town in the 1980s and almost got killed cause of racist american white folks. or about jim crow. Or segregation.
Just cause you don't mess with muslims is no reason to mess with racist white christian evangelicals.
I'll tell you, sadly some of my Naija peers in America got that wake up call in 2016...but didn't wake up until 2019.
