Unless they make him director of player personnel, Calipari ain't walkin through that door. He basically has that Kentucky job until he retires or dies and he's making NBA coach money already.
You canr pay nba players under the table to stack a teaM
Imo Calipari would be lost in the nba playing on a somewhat level playing field with the rest of the coaches
might be a bargaining ploy. 87 year old Tom Benson might give him total control and part ownership of the team to get him down there:mjshrug23:

I never get this about Calipari.
What exactly did he do bad at UMass? Marcus Camby is the one who took money from an agent.
At Memphis, it was Derrick Rose who cheated. What exactly did Calipari do bad at Memphis?
The only thing you can say is he bounced for a better opportunity. He may have known sanctions were coming, but they were not his doing.
And lets be real, coaching in the NBA>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.coaching at UMass.
Coaching at Kentucky>>>>>>>>>>>>>>coaching at Memphis.
I think people bring this up because they are lazy.

He knew what was going down. You mean to tell me that he didn't know that Derrick Rose could't pass his SATs? He knew while recruiting John Wall, Cousins, the twins, Henry etc that he was leaving. He used the schools resources and money to recruit these dudes that went with him or to other schools. Its not lazy, its facts. Dude gave no fukks. Put a * by the schools win streak and caused the two seniors that had the most wins in Conference USA history to loose all their wins. You go in the Forum now that there's no banners, no acknowledgement of any of the that season that Memphis went to the Finals. Dude can't even show his face here
