naaaah what negro? Kansas got the next "Lebron" in Wiggins, Duke got Jabari, and has the # 1 and # 4 ranked players of the 2014 class coming in.
Fair point, and I'm not saying that Cal is the best coach in the country....but on the flipside I don't think ANYONE really thinks of him like that. So as far as him being overrated, I guess it depends on where you feel people are rating him
A lot of times I think he gets too little credit because he's working with such elite talent.

Joe Torre had a bunch of paid veterans. John Calipari has a bunch of paid freshmen. Big difference.
These dudes literally don't know how much fukking work it is to get 5 fukking freshman every year to play ball like men. Cal is literally falling apart physically while trying to keep this team together lol. Whatever though. Sure, he's overrated.So getting 5 Freshman to a national title is the sign of an overrated coach now?
I know y'all hate Cal b/c he's a sleazeball, but he's one of the best coaches in the nation EASILY

I think he underachieved to such an extent that his run to the title game looked amazing. When in reality he took his 60% of the top 10 recruits team to a mediocre regular season and another year without a title.
I don't think he's garbage by any means. But damn... Give Belein or Smart that level of talent and you just might get a 37-3 juggernaut. Cal just lost to a second year coach with significantly worst talent on his side. That means something.
he took UMass to the final four, made Memphis a national power, and 3 Final 4's for Kentucky....
Kansas, Duke, North Carolina, etc get the same talent as Kentucky....reactionary fans
no, they not getting the same talent he's getting...they might get 2 maybe 3 top players a year, this cat gets 5-6 at a time...i mean, you do realize this was rated as the best recruiting class ever right?....he had 5 outta the top 10-15...it was even more highly rated than the fab 5, just think about that for a sec...
on a side note: if he could talk all them into coming back, they'd go undefeated, easily....that's how much potential talent this team has...
I'm guessing he should have went out there and shot the fukking free throws for them. I like you, breh, but you've got no fukking clue how hard it is to get a team of 5 dumb freshman to play together.
