Tyson was a professional fighter (a great 1 at that). He'd beat up any regular person. But if he went up against a professional fighter (HW) these days, he'd lose.
Heath Slater was never a professional fighter. He has some fighting experience, but he's been out of competition for so long and most likely he doesn't have enough competitive experience as is to go up against a professional fighter like Conor McGregor.
Oh FYI, Marc Mero was a golden gloves winner too. And we saw how far that took him in the Brawl For All Competition

People like yourself ignore the sheer skill gap your average pro fighter has over the average person, even seasoned street brawler. McGregor's skills and reflex is going to make up a lot of ground on those who have greater mass or muscles.
It would be idiotic to think you are going to throw hands and beat mayweather, SRL (in his prime), GGG (only 160 lbs right), and etc.

Floyd worked because while hes also the size of a 7th grader, he was the legit best boxer in the world and him vs Big Show played up the size difference as a type of David vs Goliath.
