We all know Cena ain't about that life...but part of me thinks that he might propose in the ring after getting the W and Nikki retires. That prenup would be thicker than War and Peace tho.

If not.. they savages for giving Nattie them 'never getting married' trolls.
:mjlol:

Yeah I predict that, he wins then proposes to her as commentators scream "WRESTLEMANIA MOMENT" :scust:

I don't mind this match at all. But why couldn't Styles just walk into Mania as champion :jbhmm:

And it also tarnishes Cena's #16 if it lasts only 2 weeks :mjlol:
easier to get to x17 this way :youngsabo:

So he can title #17 at next year's Mania (probably win a 3rd Rumble as well since they hate new guys winning it) :beli:
The rumble too probably. Their obsession with giving him all these records to him :snoop:. They're gonna fukk up an 8th straight rumble. Counting this year, only once in the last 12 wrestlemanias will we have had a new guy that the crowd wanted reach the top of the mountain to close the show. Here's the list of final matches of the night from 2006 onward:

2006: Cena is booed out of the building after going superhero after getting hit in the head with a sledgehammer. He even applied his stf even more wrong than he usually does to win the match.

2007: Cena is booed out of the building after his match with HBK where Shawn outclassed him too.

2008: Undertaker goes over edge. Not that this was a bad match or a bad choice, but taker has been in the ring since 1984.

2009: HHH goes over Randy in a match that was poorly booked and where the heel was almost presented as the sympathetic figure. Once again neither guy was an up and coming star and the crowd was spent after HBK vs Undertaker.

2010: HBK vs Undertaker closes the show. It's Shawn's retirement match so it's understandable and a far better choice than a third time of the crowd booing cena out of the building to close the show after another superhero comeback against Batista.

2011: Miz retains against cena in a forgettable match not just to the miz (thanks to a concussion he has no memory of the match) that's most notable moment was the rock restarting it to cost cena the match after it ended in a draw.

2012: Rock goes over cena. Glad rock was back, and I enjoyed the match. It should not have been the main event though. If rock vs hogan doesn't get priority over the title, rock vs cena should not either.

2013: twice in a lifetime. The main event everyone saw coming and that nobody wanted.

2014: Bryan finally gets his moment in the sun. There was no other acceptable moment to close this show. A great moment and a really good match too.

2015: Seth cashes in and we all go :krs:. A great swerve, but seths title run hurt him more than anything due to how weak he was booked.

2016: roman over hhh. The crowd was filing out of the building during the match and the boos were so clear that :flabbyvince: turned off the crowd microphones so that the people watching on tv couldn't tell.

Wow that was depressing to go through.

Ok so what the fukk are they gonna do with the belt?
Rumored to be Orton vs Bray. Which makes no sense since the storyline isn't interesting. They already did the whole destroy the wyatt family from the inside angle with Daniel Bryan. Plus bray had already been buried enough that his popularity and fan interest has diminished. They even cut part of his entrance and the rocking chair. He's not the same as before so I don't see the credibility in a title run for him. Then you have Randy Orton who had no business even winning the rumble. Kind of like the year sheamus won, it felt like they just needed a scapegoat to win since they had other talent to showcase at mania. Particularly reigns and taker as well as Brock and Goldberg.

The problem they created for themselves was during the draft and brand split. They knew they didn't have that many legit main event worthy stars on smackdown and had to rely on styles and ambrose to carry the brand. So now they have so much talent they want to showcase at mania with not enough time or matches. Someone is bound to be left out.

I'm guessing they do another ladder match for the ic belt, with maybe Dean, corbin, ziggler, crews maybe? Do they invite any raw guys? Does the U.S. Title get defended? What about the tag team titles? They already got five matches that I can think of not counting the triple h and Seth match since he's out. They gotta come up with something quick cuz I'm not looking forward to what they got planned.

:francis: yet I see neither of their names anywhere near the headlining match in spite of AJ clearly being their MVP for 2016 with nobody even being a close second (that includes KO and Jericho and New Day)

Exactly. Styles had an incredible "rookie year" and while Dean gets a lot of hate, he tried all he could to help and keep the show on top. They stuck him on smackdown to bury him since around the time he was getting more over than reigns and rollins. So you got your two top guys for the past six months and you decide to showcase two guys that don't need to be pushed more, cena and Orton.

The rumors of styles and Shane sound horrible. They need to give him someone that can run with him and showcase both their talents.

This mania doesn't feel like it's gonna have that moment. Like that Daniel Bryan winning at 30 or Seth cashing in moment. There's no feel good story or interesting buildup this year. Styles and Owens already won the title so it's not like they were fighting all year for the moment. They used up the briefcase already, sidenote: that shield triple threat would've been a great idea for mania. And they wasted the rumble on Randy. This mania is gonna end up like last year, an uninteresting card with many forgettable results.

It's gonna be awful. Nothing that hypes me up. As terrible as 27 was in 2011 (I think the event as a whole got a wrestlecrap induction), Taker vs HHH had me excited to see that at least. What on this card is fresh besides the prospect of Jericho vs Owens?
