A series based on Steel would be great on cable, but I'd rather it be on network tv for one reason. I want little Black kids to have a family friendly superhero.
When I was a boy, all of the cool superheroes were white. Now kids like mine can enjoy Black Lightning, Black Panther, Static (they need to hurry up with his new series), and a few others.
As an adult, I like the dark, edgy, and violent heroes, but I don't really want my seeds exposed to that at such a young age.
