Didn’t want him to win back in 2008 but it’s hilarious considering what we have in the Oval Office now. I’d take McCain in a heartbeat. He was a Republican but atleast you knew he had some morals. You just didn’t agree with him. It’s a shame how far that party has fallen. He’s one of the last semi-decent people they have.
You'd take Palin too?

Lol funny thing is this old fukk probably would’ve died of this 4 years ago if he won against Obama. Turns out those concerns about having an 80 year old president weren’t unfounded

I respect McCain for at least attempting to argue his position in good faith.

He understood, at least, that the opposing party is your opponent, not your enemy. Important distinction.

He also understood, at least, that you can counter an opponent's position without insinuating that they hate America and are incensed on destroying the country on some conspiracy sh*t.

* * *

That being said, he was responsible for bringing Sarah Palin to national prominence, and being a part of Newt Gingrich's psychotic neocon contrarian BS that still lingers to this day.

Yup. McCain shilling for endless war anywhere and everywhere should be his legacy. You'd think he would have been more cautious considering his history in Vietnam and what a horrible war that was. But he's been for every major intervention and never saw a conflict he didn't want.

I'm sure he loved his country and all that jazz but he helped a terrible ideology run this country and that ideology even supported torture which put McCain at odds on his war-mongering friends who were performing it in the Bush administration..

That’s crazy. I didn’t think it would be that quick.

I know someone who died of the same thing. They usually give up once it has spread so much and is causing so much suffering ain't much left to do. People just let go and die in days or a couple of weeks. He was probably already in a coma or something.
