the fact that cities and voters are approving this shyt is even more laughable. The idea that billionaire owners ask for public funding is laughable
That shyt is for cacs from the VA/MD suburbsY'all in first place thou![]()

That lady was funny berating your mayor for not funding sport teams that may eventually bankrupt your city![]()

a lot of citizens aren't, but these deals get made at the city government level, rarely are they on the ballot (if ever?)Anyone here care to justify this shyt? Voters seem to be in favor of welfare for billionaire owners, but no one on the coli is?
Yeah, but the video gave the impression that politicians don't run on making owners pay because its a losing issue...a lot of citizens aren't, but these deals get made at the city government level, rarely are they on the ballot (if ever?)

I thought they did all this time but damn it's a dirty game ya'll. :scustsa:The only way these stadiums should get any public funding is if the city gets a percentage of the profits for all events held there.
I haven't watched the video yet, but I've always thought it was the dumbest shyt in the world for a city to use tax money to essentially fund a private endeavor. It's pure bullshyt.
The individual teams pay taxes tho.even worse is organizations like the nfl / ncaa, which have more money than most countries on the planet, being allowed to exist as tax free organizations.
