I think it had more to do with the fact the refs are not gonna let him play physical with Steph. He tried to get up on him and refs called a foul that let's you know what it is.

I agree. He's gonna have to adapt to keep this game competitive

I still don't think people realize how difficult 81 is.

Think about all of the times Kobe has put up 45+ through 3 quarters and not sniffed that number.

Kobe had 42 in 1st half vs Wizards too and didn't get it. We will see how Curry comes out in 2nd though, if any guy that can beat Kobe's record is him. His shooting gives him the advantage.
