John Wall says he deserves a max contract

Yet another reason why max contracts are stupid. If there were no max contracts there would be no basis for a reporter to ask "Do you think you deserve $15 million per year?". nikka wouldn't even be thinking about that if there was no max.

Problem is that instead of max contracts, he'd just say "I'm worth what he's worth, and if that was $15 mil a year, so be it."

The max for Restricted Free Agents I believe is 4 years and $60 million... or 5 years $80 million if desginated the franchise player.

The term "max" takes the individual out of the equation. It allows you to distance yourself from reality. You really think that nikka would come out his mouth and say "Yeah I deserve what CP3 makes.". Would an interviewer even ask him that shyt?

I'm not even mad at him or any other player getting their money. He probably will get the max and more power to him. My issue is with the the bytchassness on the owner's part.

If they remove some of the restrictions such as max salaries I am all for it. Give nikkas the money they deserve and make them earn it.
