1 and 2 were good, albeit having Smith as the villain yet again, I would've preferred if Merv was the villain throughout the film as its ultimately just a giant fetch quest. I hate those in any video game, so I didn't much like seeing it on a 2 hour film. Even so, both were better than 3, in that its all about "love"....that was a huge letdown. We know John Neo loves trinity, but to have it reinforced in such a corny way was off putting. The love angle is such a tired way to go. However, even with my disdain for the third film, its still a better trilogy than BTTF, if we're including the entirety of all the franchise. BTTF3 was lame, TMR was better. Still both are classic trilogies.

Nah. Back to the future three is better than matrix 2 or 3. And even tho back to the future 2 is basically a remake of the first its also better. The problem with reloaded is that it’s so in love with its philosophy that it forgets its characters. And the love story doesn’t work because I’ve never for once believed Keanu and Carrie Ann are into each other. Matrix reloaded is damn near a parody of the matrix
