John wick 1 was the last movie i saw with my mom before she passed. She too had a dog that untimely departed the earf so she really gravitated to the flick. It twas one of her fav movies of all her existence.


Hope they have buttered popcorn and plush seats in heavens theater.

I think it was a calculated risk to buy them some time if they survived the hit. John’s surprised reaction was necessary to at least convince the broad that he was loyal without getting stabbed sliced up or worse

I think they did betray him. They had no other way to get them off the list and that was wicks last change to stop being excommunicado

Saw it yesterday. Gonna pretty much echo the sentiment that the first fights were better and it kinda got repetitive towards the end.

Still enjoyed the movie tho.

I will say this is the first film where there were moments when the action was a bit gratuitous and tiring. That was pretty much my only complaint.

i was during the last fight scene, i knocked out a few times during the movie and got shook up by the gun fire

Kinda reminds me of Dead to Rights and Max Payne. But with more hand to hand action.
