Johnny Wrestling has that appeal to him. You cannot but not root for him, good worker and a very good at selling.

He was in there with Hero and given time so its no surprise it turned out great...but yeah they definitely tore it up. Johnny is definitely great at selling. Not sure why they wasted that on NXT TV instead of doing an actual program.

I don't consider Gargano a vanilla midget, though. I think he is one of the few small guys who could overcome their lack of size and mic skills. He's a great performer and a natural baby face. Cruiserweight guys I think have potential to overcome their size are Neville, Gargano, and Rush. That's why I pick Oney Lorcan as the best vanilla midget, the guy throws everything but the kitchen sink into losing efforts and manages to get himself over every match but he's featured so rarely that the crowd forgets about him. The others I could see being bigger stars elsewhere but Oney is just going to deliver good ass matches wherever he goes.

Gargano has Daniel Bryan like charisma. Something about him makes him really likeable and easy to root for.

Johnny Wrestling is a great chant too

His selling is pretty great, every match it feels like he’s in legit deep shyt and somehow manages to overcome it.

He would make a great plucky IC or US champion imo

Exactly what I thought when I first saw him. He's a genuine babyface that is easy to root for & he's a great wrestler on top of it. I honestly see Johnny Gargano being a solid star on the main roster.

thats not a shame...thats exactly where he belongs. 205 Live needs star power. They need established guys who can build its credibility. Guys like Gargano and Kenta are gonna make 205 worth watching...he'd get lost on the main roster...like Neville did...like Kallisto did...like Enzo was heading towards...like Tyler Breeze and Fandango were before they put em together...like Tye Dillinger, Apollo Crews and a few others that were over on NXT. Nobody has said he'll be designated to 205...but that is going to come up because it makes sense.
