Fallen for what? My own eyes tells me he's going to be a good qb. Dude has pocket presence out the ass. fukk a hype.....my own football acumen says he's going to be good
If you think he's going to be good your football acumen is ass. What more do you want me to say? :yeshrug:

I keep telling why he won't be that good and you keep talking about "scrambling ability" and "pocket presence". I'm sorry, that makes no sense.

He's 5'11

Never played under center

Played with superior talent at the OL & WR positions (both seasons)

Relies on buying time in/out the pocket to make plays

All these are facts yet he's still projected to go top 5. That is White Privelege if I've ever seen it. I know this because a similarly sized black player (who played with inferior talent) went in the 3rd round two years ago
If Russell failed miserably in the playoffs, Johnny would be in the 3rd round as well. Let's not forget that Russ wasn't nearly as popular or had been seen by as much of the football watching public.

Dude has a chance. I don't see how you can be so definitive already. Hell Tebow won a playoff game.
A guy plays how he plays. Tebow won a playoff game and is out the league. He's a terrible comparison.

Qbs that can buy time are the new thing. Don't need you to tell me about the media hype seeing I addressed it says ago before speaking to you

But please....mike evans is nothing more than a straight line wr that can't run any routes besides going deep. Ed not that goods. His OL is good but dude pocket presence is exceptional and his agility is top five within the pocket.

He's going to be good.

That'd great.

Ask folks on this board on my player projections. I certainly don't need your approval cuz of one player.

That's part of my point -- Manziel isn't as good as Wilson PERIOD. As players, one has nothing to do with the other. White Privilege is somehow convincing you that they are linked as far as talent ceiling goes, and that's just not the case. Go back and watch Wilson in college. He was pro ready even at North Carolina State. He was leading inferior talent to wins as a freshman, bruh. As a freshman he put up 17 TDs 1INT in the ACC in a pro style offense.

Dog....it's people like you who abuse the seriousness of white privilege, using it carelessly.

And if you didn't know....shuttle runs so matter. He's extremely agile

The ONLY thing that matters to me, because a QB/RB/WR needs to be able to be shifty in a tight space. That's the difference between a 3 yard pick up or a 10 yard scamper around the edge for a 1st down. You rarely have that open field to show your "40 speed" in the NFL for a QB

Dude said QBs who "buy time" in the pocket is what's in. Yea, only when its comes to white QBs because black one's been doing that sh*t since Randall.

Bortles - gets raves for being "mobile"; stock is climbing

Manziel - gets raves for being "mobile"; stock is climbing

Bridgewater - gets no raves for being mobile; stock has evened at best, dropped at worst

While ...

Boyd is also "mobile"; no one cares. 4th round grade apparently

Funny how that 'mobile' sh*t works, huh

Who cares its not your money. Manziel is all hype and nothing else. His arm is weak, good kuxj running around in the pocket in the nfl.

We all saw what LSU did to him in back to back years he will be shut down in the NFL a lot.

Who cares about these analysts.

Bortles sucks and has a horrible deep ball, this years blaine gabbert/ Jake locker

Boyd had a horrible senior bowl and didn't impress at the combine.

But does it matter? Russell wilson was a third round pick, kapernick second round.

If your good enough you will have a shot.

Ponder, locker and gabbert are already being replaced 3 years later. If you suck your gone and exposed qquickly.

Manziel was exposed by LSU and even bama when Oklahoma and auburn did the same thing to them. Fast mobile qbs give them trouble

Texans owner wants Manziel for obvious financial reasons. I wouldn't be surprised if he went first.

Manziel has been the most grotesque example of white priviledge I can remember. Not necessarily b/c of them overrating his skill set but moreso them ignoring his off the field issues. Where are the GMs asking about his family's past affiliation wih the Texas Mob/robberies/etc like they did Dez? Where are the questions about his party lifestyle? I mean it's been brought up but not to the extent that it would have been if he were black. The guy is treated like a cult hero for his lifestyle by many white football fans while a black man doing the same thing (traveling coast to coast hanging with rappers) would have been admonished and interrogated like a terroist in Guantanamo Bay. Plus I have a huge issue with the little due Bridgewater has gotten over the last month. He has the demeanor, work ethic, and experience in a pro-offense that the NFL craves but he's been slipping on draft boards since the season ended? :stopitslime:
