no it doesnt. you have to watch the motions of all dbs to try to figure out the coverage...and even then teams know this and counter with combo coverages to not tip their hand and have the opposite team have piece of cake hi/lo completions against zone

you just contradicted yourself because you said you only watch the safeties. it also doesnt really work against corners who play good press as they can close down the distance right before the snap and jam the WR off

you're also overestimating the amount of audible plays a qb does on the pro level. very few qbs will be checking out of the two plays called in the huddle. most of the time you dont like what you see you will 'kill' and get to the second play
