I liked it as well. It was original and had some interesting concepts.

It's not a great movie but the production design, cast and a grip of scenes make it iconic. They don't really make movies like this anymore, where it still ends up good off the strength of charisma and artistry on display even if the script and acting weak. Takeshi Kitano telling dude his japanese sucks and to speak english, Dolph Lundgren as a Jesus freak assassin, Henry Rollings as an underground tech doctor, ice t as a anti-tech resistance fighter, the fukking dolphin...fun movie.
