I think when feds investigated Hill, they went through his books. He was doing the film to wash money, so there has to have been a record of film expenses somewhere.

That's the only way it adds up, and how the Feds would know the amount the lead actor got.

Her big break role was Player's Club from 1998. This Reasons film was shot in 94/95.

She was probably a bit character in the film.
Her, Eiht, and the late Bernie Mac were probably the only cast members who had entertainment careers. I'm sure the Feds had the other cast members come in too.

When the convicted dude wrote his book, he's only going to mention stars when talking about the film. He mentioned Lisaraye only to portray 8 as soft by comparison.

I think we've both seen our share of hood movies. She could have been the main character's girlfriend and still had a bit role. With 2 scenes and 5 sentences of dialogue.

I'm not shytting on Lisaraye, I've always liked her and thought she was BAD.

Was just saying that her small role in an indie film from 94....isn't worth her weighing on on this topic.
