Director Todd Phillips posted to Instagram the first confirmation that the sequel to 2019’s “Joker” is moving forward on Tuesday — including the cover of the script, written by Phillips and Scott Silver, his collaborator on the first film, with the title “Joker: Folie à Deux.” In the same post, he included a shot of star Joaquin Phoenix reading the screenplay.

Keeping it 100 this was best origin movie that i can recall. Better than batman, wolverine, etc. It fleshed out who he was and got away from the Jack Napier origin. Now let's just hope this one is more action than drama

I think this one is about wilhem Dafoe playing another guy who loves the joker and imitates him but he's worse or something like that so you might be right

Hope they can find some more Scorsese movies to "sample" for this one. I did like the first but it generally stuck to a scenes and a loose plot that had already been done in other movies (which I didn't mind.) It will be interesting to see if they can write that into another movie. I hope the keep the tone and not have long comic book action scenes thrown in.

I know it’s a scorsesse movie but They should do the usual suspects for this one

They can't tie this into any preexisting Batman movies because Bruce Wayne was a kid in the first movie.

Unless they make a 20-something Batman fighting a

Joker.
