If you play at a MVP level all season and don't play well when it counts the most. That means that MVP didn't mean shyt. What's flawed about that logic?
The MVP is a regular season award, that's what's flawed about the logic. Otherwise the votes would be collected in July, not April. There's many factors into why a MVP player doesn't look the part for any given series. Habitual chokers/shrinkers are a different story.

Nothing flawed about it. I didn't say he is not deserving of the award or that it is based on playoff performance.

Everything is flawed about it. You not staying something verbatim does not get you off the hook for what your sentiment actually is. You clearly believe the award should be based on playoff performance if you use a subpar playoff performance to diminish the validity of the season MVP winner as an individual.

The crazy thing is that usually after the 3rd MVP, the voters tend to cool it down a bit going forward but the way it's shaping up I wouldn't be surprised if the unprecedented happens and he wins it the next two seasons.

I say this because the sport journalists and media personnel loves this man soo much that like you said they're gonna jump through hoops looking for reasons to justify him winning the MVP over and over again.

No way should this man ever have more MVPs than MJ, Kareem, Bron, Wilt, or Magic but it seems like the league trynna make him the “face” with all these MVPs. Obviously MVPs don't tell the whole story about a player but decades from now when new generations look back and see him with all these MVPs it allows for revisionists to rewrite NBA history, having people think Jokic was better than those names.
The fact that you have to play a minimum amount of games to get this award is going to be how they justify giving him 4 more mvps :martin:

The voters made up their mind around the time Shai got hurt. He qualified for MVP, but the way they were talking on TV, that was the moment he lost whatever chance he had to overtake Joker because so many had Joker winning months ago. I’m not sure if Shannon Sharpe had a vote, but I remember him telling SAS that he was wasting his vote because Joker was gonna win.

Yall love jokic.
I think he's cool.
But bro ain't all that. He's getting by because there isn't any centers in the league.
And hes getting love because he's a nice, non black person.

Shaq was pissed and I wasn't tripping too much until they read the actual results of the votes.
Like that doesn't even make sense unless they was just gonna give him the award no matter what.

IMO, jokic isn't even better than embiid.

In the future we're gonna look back at these 3mvp awards for jokic and we gonna be confused as hell

It's gonna be really telling if Jokic doesn't get to at least 4-5 Finals.. Look at all the players who have at least 3:

Kareem (10 Finals)
Jordan (6 Finals)
LeBron (10 Finals)
Russell (12 Finals)
Larry Bird (5 Finals)
Wilt Chamberlain (6 Finals)
Magic (9 Finals)

Russell's league era and his team was a unique circumstance that literally can't be replicated. Magic and Kareem are 2 Top 10ers (really 5ers) who played together for 10 years, that's also unique.

I could nitpick one more but I don't wanna hear the Coli crying so the rest is give you.

3 MVPs is in elite company so yeah you better produce legacy wise

I didn't wanna include Moses Malone (since that went against my narrative lol), but still he has 2 Finals appearances.. Jokic got work to do
