Brock looked probably the best he ever has against Hunt. If he showed up in that shape the fight would definitely be winnable for him. It's far from a given that Brock cant outwrestle Jones. Cormier couldn't, but Brock has about 50 lbs on him and better wrestling credentials than anyone else Jones has faced.

If the Brock that showed up last year faces Jones I think he has a good shot. Idk how much the failed drug test will play into things.

he wants that big payday and i understand...right now, all he would be doing going forward is having little reward/big risk (in terms of losing and hurting his legacy) fights with lesser named people....the only issue with this: he dont have a pbf he can call out, that can help the negotiations...pbf the reason conner gonna get the money he is, which is mainly cause dana white/ufc cant control the money with pbf....where as with brock, dana/ufc will be in charge of it all...so while he might not get the conner money, he can still get a larger sum....

as for the fight it self: it's one i would pay for....bones would need to gain bout 20-30 lbs, but he could strike the shyt outta brock and win......he just gotta make sure brock dont grab him, cause if he did, that aint gonna go well for jones....

Shame there never was a Bones/Silva fight. Even at Anderson's advanced age, that had the makings of a classic.
