Jon Jones vs Mike Tyson

I dislike Jon Jones, but if he were to fight smart, he would win pretty easily. Jones throws around 220 pound wrestling powerhouses with EASE, imagine would he would do to Tyson. Now if Tyson lands clean, it would be all over. But Jones is not stupid, he would avoid striking with Tyson entirely.

If this were to ever happen, I would expect Jones to instantly shot for a double or clinch and throw Tyson to the floor. He would then unleash some ground and pound [elbows, punches, knees, etc] or choke him till he's unconscious.

To be fair those boxers were out of the physical and mental primes, old, fat and slow. Mike Tyson in his prime would be nothing like those fighters. On the fence with this matchup.

Elbow? kick? Does Tyson even know how to throw a proper elbow or kick. To bite Jones, Tyson would need to grab him, if that were to happen, Tyson would def. be thrown to the ground.

they don't throw kicks because for an amateur its difficult to throw a good kick. For Jones it would be like second nature

the thing i hate about UFC is that cage makes takedowns easier than in the pride days. Once u force the opponent against the cage its makes takedowns a lot easier. Thats why pride was more striking and less about wrestling/ground and pound. So in a street fight I'm giving mike tyson an edge. Jones would literally have to fight dude perfect; but if tyson lands one good hit its a wrap. Even a flabby and sick rampage got some licks in on jones so I'm sure a prime tyson could get one clean look at him.

im not exactly sure what would happen. if tyson can connect with 1 solid punch its game over. same with jon jones and a kick. i feel like tyson would be better able to dodge a kick, or protect his face more than jones with a tyson punch.
