All he is saying fundamentally is that everyone has a voice in this world and you can't expect to not hear their reverberations in the ultra free speech world that we live in today.

You cant control what people think

And people criticizing your views or having rebuttals has never been what “cancel culture” is nor is it what people refer to regarding cancel culture. Stewart is smart enough to know that so what he’s saying now is disingenuous as fukk and reeks of calculation.
