I agree with what he's saying for the most part, though EVERYTHING put in the atmosphere for public consumption is subject to criticism. Especially when the producers aren't even trying to put out a better product. Hell, even their main storylines for the past few years (Bryan, Shane, etc.) are centered around them knowing and still not caring about doing the same old shyt forever. I'd argue that they wouldn't be doing any better this year without all the injuries. You'd just see different faces in the same places.
They would not have a viewer in me if it wasn't for TSC. This place makes that shyt so fun. I'll miss Raw tonight (shoutout to the freeway) and it's doubtful that I go back and watch the show, but I will go back and read the TSC thread as soon as I get a few free minutes.

This is one of the worst comparisons I've ever seen on this subforum. Practically every main and supporting character on GoT is fleshed out, has a purpose, is given good dialogue that fits their character and the overall show has great direction and plot continuity. On the other hand you have WWE where practically every character (with exceptions that can be counted on a single hand) have bland, non-unique, unorganic character traits, cut promos that can be described by the same adjectives, and have generic, poorly-thought out storylines to work with. Even their main babyfaces that they put all of their focus into like Cena and Reigns have none of the charisma, unique style or verbiage that former top guys like Rock, Austin, Flair, Hoegan, Savage, etc had.
If George RR Martin decided to make his main protagonist a bland, generic "babyface" following a terrible, inconsistent storyline I'm sure plenty of people would call the show garbage and stop watching. I agree with your point about people sticking around every week like battered wives to complain about a product they don't enjoy instead of just not watching (haven't watched since 09 myself), but this was a very bad comparison.

Word, I hear you and I agree with your main point. Despite not following the product 11 months out of the year, I went to Mania 31 last year since it was like an hour away and had fun at the show. My only gripe was with the GoT comparison and the way you worded it.
