I don’t even know if this show is actually good or not

But it’s an entertaining watch
It's a weird show. It has an almost comical layer to at times it but at the same time is supposed to be taken seriously. It's not what I would call a dramedy though. I like it but I wouldn't call it a favorite series of mine either.

Have you never seen or played the Fallot games? The satire is consistent

It's mostly Maximus that's comical. The Ghoul and Lucy play it straight but the brother is kinda goofy. I don't wanna call him dumb but he's kinda off.

Catching up with the last episode, a lot of factions introduced.

Macaulay Culkin playing Roman soldier :skip:. All things considered, Lucy made it out easy thanks to the Ghoul.

Both sides of the Brotherhood seem fukked up. One side willing to kill kids because of the Codex, another one ready to start a civil war and seem heavily religious.

Goggins as the Ghoul remains the best thing about the series.

I was trying to place who that was but for the life of me I couldn’t figure it out :dead:

Tho I think that’s my first time seeing him on screen since 1990-something :mjlol:

I mentioned before that the first ep was ok and 2nd ep restored the feeling. 3rd ep was cool… but I understand if ppl feel it’s a bit of a slow grind, as they’re mostly remixing each character’s greatest hits.

i.e. Maximus is in some shyt bc he kills one of his comrades. Lucy stay fallin into some shyt bc she too gullible/naive. Ghoul’s backstory flashbacks of still being the husband indecisive about the shyt he in.

I figure enough pieces are in place and things will pick up next ep, or they’ll at least get to the “new vegas” part.

Ehh, that's kinda surface level though, least 2 of the 3.
Maximus - Him killing that dude may start a big war. The head of the Brotherhood just told him not do it. Also, this the first time he killed one of his comrades isnt it? I may be forgetting, but who did he kill?

Ghoul - I'm assuming that flashback with the wife and stuff will show how the attempt or w/e went with Robert House. Plus the flashback with the Indian(native breh?) shows why he saves Lucy and made a decision in the civil war stuff.

Lucy - I sorta agree with it, but least the woman was a "good" woman it seems.

It amounts to the same trope tho, remixed as it is.

Again, I have no problem with it but with some complaints of it threading water i get why they’d feel that way. Once things get to New Vegas and things are full steam, i expect the season to reach the same heights as s1

.... Episode 2 of the first season . . .. . wasnt exactly a "kill" but he let it happen and took the power armor and posed as "Knight Titus" . . .
