I have a new 'theory' about the Deathclaws that I haven't see on the internet yet:

Now that the show has introduced the Forced Evolutionary Virus. I think this might the reason that the Deathclaw didn't kill Cooper.

We know now that Deathclaws were being used by the US Military in Alaska years and years before the War even started. And we now see Mr. House speculating that the Deathclaws were created what we know as "The Enclave" (even if House doesn't know what to call then yet).

I think there's going to be a big reveal that The Enclave dosed all the USMC troops in Alaska with the same strain of F.E.V. that they used to create the Deathclaws. That way, they were able to train the Deathclaws to see the Marines at the same species as themselves and not attack "friendly" troops.

I think this is going to turn out to be the "Origin" story of The Ghouls as a whole. Cooper and all the other Alaska Marines were already dosed up with a low level of F.E.V.. At the time there were no side effects, but then years later when exposed to radiation from nukes, the latent FEV inside of his body mutated into a form that turned him into a Ghoul.

I watched a youtube video that mentioned that in Fallout 1, only "pure" Vault Dwellers could be converted into SuperMutants, because everyone on the surface was already exposed to low levels to FEV that made them immune.

So I think its:
Human + Low Level FEV exposure + time + radiation = Ghoul
and
Human(non mutated) + High Level FEV = SuperMutant


I think the Bud's secret plan for Vaults 31,32, and 33 was to have a 'stock' of pure non-mutated humans that could be turned into SuperMutants with FEV.

From what I'm seeing, even hardcore fans don't seem to know exactly WHY the deathclaw left Cooper alone.
I'm tying it in with the fact that FEV is bascially a defective version of the MCU Captain America SuperSoldier serum.

Cause they are retarded... The deathclaw fell right into a plot device to slowly eat the man in the tin can.... But was distracted by the bomb that went off behind them


But nerds on the internet have to think "No, it's more complicated than that"


In the games, deathclaws came before the bombs, just like in the show. And just like in the show, they continued to experiment with FEV before, during and after the bombs, and that created supermutants and other lifeforms...

It's not as deep as y'all making it. Ghouls are just humans exposed to extreme radiation. It's not that deep.

Looking like we finally are getting an answer to who dropped the bombs... The Enclave. Which makes sense since they are responsible for supermutants and death claws and now cold fusion. Plus, a bunch of scientist would be the ones ready to do this shyt

. . . two eps left . . .. this been a decent watch but ultimately this was a filler-season . . . . . i pray they dont milk this shyt the way FX been doin with The Bear forcing them to stretch the story over too many seasons. . . and keeping it stuck in the New Vegas vicinity .. . . . not much visual juice left to squeeze from the games other than Behemoths... Liberty Prime . . .. Fat Man weapon blowin shyt up . . . .. Synths . . . . . i mean .. . . heads who fukked with the games wanna see the Capitol Wasteland and the Commonwealth in live-action . . .. . in a perfect world . . .. . . we would get that in Seasons 4 and 5 and then the finale would show them heading to NY . . . .. . and then right after the finale . . Bethesda would shadow-drop Fallout 5 for PC and PS6 (XBox is no longer around by that time...) ,. . . that would take place in the remnants of the "Empire Wasteland" . . . . . . . full-circle. . .. . . from the games to the TV show and back to the games. . .

My only reservation with making The Enclave a major villain of the show is that these dudes have already been wiped out..twice. There can't be that many survivors from the pre-war government
