Inviting gambling to these leagues was a mistake

It was, but all parties involved wanted the revenue that came along with it so they’ll deal with the repercussions later.

Porter is 24 years old, he's a youngin. I wouldn't rule out he was influence by the constant marketing and promoting of Gambling by the NBA and other Sports leagues and channels. Why are Sports Leagues and ESPN advertising Gambling so hard. There are ads to gamble everywhere. If it's so bad and wrong, why promote it so much? When I grew up they didn't advertise this stuff. Now you got Athletes like Tom Brady promoting it. Every time I saw an NFL game last year, there was a Gambling advertisement. Same with the NBA. The fact is they saw a chance to make more money and this and the Ohtani situation is just the beginning of the consequences of normalizing it. I have a feeling lower-tier players like Porter will take the risk.

Anybody ever notice Shais O/U is always 30.5

And he scores either 31 or 30 pts like every game :russ:

Remember when they was openly letting him hunt to keep his streak going? :patrice: I have NEVER seen a star player do shyt like that

This shyt is nastier than we think. It reminds me of that report about the young generation being ‘feral’ and basically having no moral compass. I’m not gon go that far but there is definitely a complete loss of the basics.

Like all of a sudden these young nggas don’t gaf about unwritten rules, taking 3s doing 360’s with 10 seconds left up 50, the level of openly taunting your opponent at all levels, etc. Nothing happens on an island it’s an overall lack of discipline, honor, decency /rant

24 years old is old enough to understand the consequences of gambling especially since NBA rules clearly prohibit it.

Remember, being in the league is a privilege and not a right. If you fukk up, then there’s always someone else waiting to take your spot.
