Not really, they would have just replaced Jordan with someone else. Also this is business. The financier always gets the lions-share Nike is/was footing the bill for EVERYTHING, they took the initial risk YEARS ago when they put up their money to manufacture, create and design the shoes, advertising campaigns, etc. Jordan puts up no money and does no work. I believe he's being compensated rather nicely

No one is denying he's living a good life but as a business deal he got screwed, simple as that
